Dr. Runnels is a board-certified OB-GYN specializing in regenerative gynecology, genitoplastic surgery, and facial aesthetics. She is also a faculty instructor for the Cellular Medicine Association, a clinical researcher, and the owner of Scarlett Phoenix, a concierge clinic for regenerative gynecology, aesthetics, and sexual health in San Antonio, TX, and Fairhope, AL.
Her areas of special interest include using regenerative modalities, bioidentical hormones, neurotoxins, and surgical techniques for:
1) Restoration of the aging genitals and face with surgical and nonsurgical techniques
2) The role of inherited connective tissue disorders and autonomic nervous system dysfunction in gynecologic disorders
Her surgical specialties are in-office labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, clitoral hood reduction, clitoral phimosis release, perineoplasty, and labia majora augmentation.
Dr. Runnels has also developed novel protocols for treating complex gynecologic conditions such as lichen sclerosus, vaginismus, anorgasmia, clitorodynia and other genito-pelivc pain disorders.
