Christopher Capicotto, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Capicotto joined the Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Health as a Precision Medicine Physician (the “Comite Center”) in 2022. He is also involved in operations and patient care at Groq Health, a pioneering digital health platform delivering precision and preventive medicine led by Dr. Florence Comite of the Comite Center. He holds double certifications in Internal Medicine from both allopathic and osteopathic boards. Chris initially pursued a career in the financial industry after graduating with degrees in finance and accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008. He successfully passed all Certified Public Accountant exams and worked at KPMG LLP and a private equity firm in New York City before answering his calling to medicine. His journey into healthcare began with a post-baccalaureate program in premedical sciences at Columbia University, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout his residency training, he gained invaluable experience at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he faced the challenges of providing care in a low-resourced health system during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Chris now leverages his diverse background to contribute to the work of the Comite Center and Groq Health, ensuring a holistic, high-impact, n-of-1 approach to care and the growing field of precision medicine.
