Dr. Contiero graduated with a PhD in Clinical Exercise from the University of the West of Scotland, U.K. His research focuses on clinical exercise, healthy ageing and adapted martial arts. Danilo graduated with a MSc in Physical Activity for Health Prevention and Rehabilitation at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, after spending a long internship in Denmark under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Caserotti and Prof. H. Eichberg, trying to investigate the benefits of physical activity in later life. He then worked as researcher and Exercise Physiologist in the laboratory of cardiovascular health at the University Hospital “Federico II” in Napoli, Italy. In 2022, Mr. Contiero joined the Italian Research Institute on Ageing (INRCA), investigating the benefits of home-based physical activity for frail seniors. Dr. Contiero has also been a reviewer and editor for several academic journal as “The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health”. Since late 2024, Dr. Contiero has joined the Comite Center as Exercise Physiologist.”
