Matt Burnett, DC, CCSMS, is Chief Clinical Officer of Fountain Life, which is currently expanding integrated clinics both nationally and internationally. He was previously the CEO of Legacy Medical Centers for the past 15 years. Dr. Burnett treats a wide range of patients but has a special niche in the athletic world treating local and professional athletes. His experience started as an athlete himself at Wheeling Jesuit University, where he was a four-year varsity letter winner and NCAA Academic All-American with the men’s soccer team. Dr. Burnett continued his soccer career as the assistant men’s and women’s coach at Illinois Tech in Chicago while earning his doctorate. Upon graduation, Dr. Burnett stayed on with Illinois Tech as their strength and conditioning coach until the 2010 season. In addition to his successful coaching career, Dr. Burnett has had the privilege of working with hundreds of NFL athletes from all 32 teams. He continues to see athletes from the MLB, NHL, LPGA, PGA, as well as professional boxers. All of this experience, in turn, has had a huge impact on Dr. Burnett, expanding his array of knowledge of how best to help patients. He currently sits on multiple advisory boards, lectures internationally on laser therapy, and continues advancing research in the fields of EMF with regards to bio plasma and tissue matrix.
