Estrogen Dominance - Single Course

ED, what does the term really mean? ED is commonly misunderstood, misstated, and inappropriately used to denigrate any use of estrogen. This lecture will review EBM that provides credence for the use of estrogen and the benefit in protecting against heart disease and breast cancer, not cause it. I will use the medical literature to demonstrate the importance of the use estrogen to TREAT estrogen dominance, which is a completely over-utilized and incorrectly utilized term that should be discarded in place of a more appropriate term: IR.

- Learn and understand the signs of “estrogen dominance/progesterone deficiency,” when and how to measure levels, and the benefits of various delivery systems
- Learn and understand the latest evidence-based benefits and risks of bio-identical HRT and understand clinically based techniques to make this HRT more reliable and more successful.
- Learn and understand the latest evidence-based stratagems used to elucidate risk factors, diagnose, measure/monitor signs and symptoms, as well understanding therapeutic interventions for Androgenetic Alopecia.
- Learn and understand essentials of an Age Management BHRT program.

Neal Rouzier, M.D.
Neal Rouzier, M.D. is still a practicing board certified emergency physician and former assistantdirector of a large trauma center in Southern California. After completing residencies in family practice and emergency medicine at UCLA, he has practiced emergency medicine for over 30 years. In addition, Dr. Rouzier is the medical director of the Preventive Medicine Clinic of Palm Springs that specializes in hormone replacement for both men and women. He is the author of the popular book on hormone replacement entitled “How to Achieve Healthy Aging for Men & Women” which introduces BHRT. Dr. Rouzier teaches the most popular and successful courses in the U.S. on bioidentical hormone replacement and preventive medicine that focus on the research and EBM supporting hormone replacement. Dr. Rouzier teaches all the complexities of BHRT as well as the nuts and bolts of prescribing, monitoring, adjusting, and all there is to know about hormones. His basic, advanced, and complex age management courses are accompanied by 300-page workbooks referencing the medical literature that provide the basis and science behindthis new paradigm in preventive medicine. Dr. Rouzier lectures at various medical academies in the U.S. and abroad and uniquely critiques the medical literature to provide the audience with insight into treatments that are not understood by most practitioners.
