AMMG Offering 6 Pre-conference Workshops at the October Conference in Las Vegas

AMMG is offering six pre-conference workshops at this October’s Age Management Medicine Conference in Las Vegas, providing attendees with an opportunity to dive deep into various topics of their choice.
On Wednesday, October 7, an 8-hour workshop on “Essential Knowledge in the Clinical Use of Peptides in Age Management Medicine – Part 1” will provide the essential knowledge healthcare providers need to feel confident about using peptides in their practice. Lauded by past students, this class, taught by Dr. Edwin Lee and Dr. Luis Martinez, will cover not only popularly used peptides, but updated alternatives to treat specific conditions in line with recent FDA regulations. The workshop concludes with an optional test taken on your laptop, on which a score of 80% will earn attendees a certificate demonstrating Essential Knowledge of the Clinical Use of Peptides.
This peptide workshop is then followed up on Thursday, October 8 with Part 2: another full day devoted to “Advanced Peptide Clinical Strategies.” This is an intensive, physician-focused educational program designed for clinicians seeking deeper expertise in evidence-informed peptide therapeutics and integrative regenerative medicine. It will also address the evolving regulatory and compliance landscape surrounding peptide prescribing, compounding, documentation, informed consent, and state and federal oversight, helping clinicians integrate peptide therapies into practice with greater confidence, sophistication, and operational clarity.
Thursday’s Part 2 has prerequisites: faculty would like you to submit 2-3 case studies before the meeting, and you must have completed either any previous AMMG full-day peptide course, including Part 1, or obtained the Peptide Certification on Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, a workshop on Bioadaptive Aesthetics will include information on regenerative aesthetics, smart skin renewal, peptides, and combination therapies designed to support both exceptional clinical outcomes and sustainable business growth. Ideal for physicians, aesthetic providers, nurses, medical spas, and practices, this full-day workshop includes live demonstrations and audience interaction.
A third full-day workshop on Wednesday, Practice Management has proved exceptionally popular and useful in past years with attendees who are attracted to the field of Age Management Medicine, but do not feel qualified, or empowered with the necessary tools, to successfully transition from the well-established structure of disease-based medicine or from the traditional insurance-based reimbursement system, into a system which relies to a significant degree upon direct pay. It is also designed to complement the AMMG Certification in Age Management Medicine for physicians and healthcare professionals, and to help educate and inform medical and office staff.
On Thursday, besides Part 2 of Peptides, there is a full-day workshop on Longevity and the Microbiome. Taught by Dushyant Viswanathan, M.D. and Elliot Dinetz, M.D., this course will give you tools to understand clinical applications of the microbiome with focus on different areas of the body along with tools to apply in your practice. There is plentiful new data describing the impact of specific microbiome signatures that optimize longevity, along with the useful tools and strategies to achieve this goal. Drs. Viswanathan and Dinetz specialize in diagnostic and therapeutic efforts aimed at the microbiomes of various body parts, en route to improved organ function, lowered inflammation, and better clinical outcomes.
Also on Thursday, “The Laboratory of Functional Medicine” provides a full day with William Clearfield, D.O., Executive Director of the American Osteopathic Society of Rheumatic Diseases. Dr. Clearfield will present a comprehensive, structured, systems-based approach to interpreting laboratory studies in functional and age-management medicine. The program is designed to be highly clinically applicable, with a strong emphasis on hormone optimization, including adrenal, thyroid, and sex hormone systems. Participants will learn how to interpret and integrate 15–20 of the most clinically useful laboratory tests in functional medicine and apply them in a structured diagnostic framework to identify metabolic, endocrine, gastrointestinal, immune, and environmental drivers of chronic disease.
