OVERVIEW
This conference provides Physicians and Healthcare Providers evidence-based research and clinical protocols on new procedures, methods, and topics in Age Management Medicine that will increase competency, knowledge and provide treatment tools that improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Use fitness as a basic diagnostic tool
- Use fitness protocols to develop individualized patient treatment plans
- Recognize the cause of nutrient depletion and how to properly diagnose nutrient deficiency
- Use proper nutrition protocols to develop individualized patient treatment plans
- Recognize the causes of weight gain
- Learn strategies for weight loss such as diet, hormone imbalance, and surgical intervention
- Recognize the neurobiology of Traumatic Brain Injury
- Use proper methods to diagnose and identify Traumatic Brain Injury
- Apply strategies for treatment of TBI patients
- Describe new innovations in Precision Medicine
- Apply Precision Medicine to individualized patient treatment plans
- Manage complications and risks of hormone therapy
- Use proper methods to diagnose and treat hypogonadism
- Recognize the danger of environmental toxins to health, specifically to an aging population
- Recognize how genomics impacts environmentally related illnesses
- Use detoxification protocols as a clinical treatment for environmental toxins
- Recognize genomic factors which can contribute to brain health
- Use knowledge of EMF’s to increase health promoting factors in Nrf2
- Use anti-oxidants to replace nutrients depleted by tobacco use
TARGET AUDIENCE
This symposium is aimed at Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists who practice, or who may wish to practice, specialize or increase their knowledge in Age Management Medicine.
