Clinical Use of Hormones in Age Management Medicine – Part 2

 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Foundation for Care Management (FCM) and Age Management Medicine Group. The Foundation for Care Management is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

FCM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 9.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.
The ACCME defines a “Commercial interest” as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.

Objectives – After attending this program you should be able to:

  1. Summarize the legal medical use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in its medical use.
  2. Discuss essential scientific information for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in patients with diagnosed deficiencies and explain how to clinically apply this knowledge in your practice to improve patient outcomes.
  3. Discuss essential scientific information for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in patients in other areas of medical use such as unique female issues, male issues and sexual dysfunction and explain how to clinically apply this knowledge in your practice to improve patient outcomes.
  4. Summarize indications and contraindications for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone.

Completing all steps is a requirement in order to qualify for your CME and to receive your CME certificate.

  • Before watching the course videos participants are required to take the short Pre-Test to determine your existing knowledge.
  • After completing this Pre-Evaluation you will watch ALL videos in this course.
  • After you have watched all the videos participants are required to take the Post-Test so we can determine the value of this course.
  • After completing the Post-Evaluation you will click the “Go to Course Evaluation & CME Certificate” button at the bottom of the video page.
  • Complete the Course Evaluation in its entirety.
  • At the completion of the Course Evaluation you will be taken to a screen where you can immediately download and print a copy of your CME Certificate.
    • IMPORTANT: Do not exit the Evaluation until you have completed the Course Evaluation and downloaded your CME Certificate.
    • A copy will also be emailed to the address you used to sign up. If you don’t receive it immediately check your SPAM folder.
