Hormones Part 1 – Full Course

AMA PRA Category 1 Accreditation Statement

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), through the joint providership of the Foundation for Care Management (FCM) and Age Management Medicine Group.  The Foundation for Care Management is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

FCM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity. The ACCME defines a “Commercial Interest” as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.

 

Course Objectives:

1. Discuss the evidence-based theory of Interventional Endocrinology and the science behind and clinical applications of hormone therapy for patients who have been property assessed and diagnosed as deficient.

2. Summarize and discuss the science and protocols in properly assessing patients who may have a hormone deficiency.

3. Discuss the latest evidence-based research in the field of hormones and hormone replacement.

4. Discuss the latest evidence-based Literature and Clinical Information on Estrogen Dominance.

5. Discuss the signs and symptoms of adrenal fatigue & suboptimal thyroid and understand how to diagnose oververt endocrine disorders of the adrenal and thyroid.

6. Summarize the signs of “estrogen dominance/progesterone deficiency,” when and how to measure levels, and the benefits of various delivery systems

7. Discuss the latest evidence-based benefits and risks of bio-identical HRT and understand clinically based techniques to make this HRT more reliable and more successful.

8. Discuss the latest evidence-based stratagems used to elucidate risk factors, diagnose, measure/monitor signs and symptoms, as well understanding therapeutic interventions for Androgenetic Alopecia.

9. Summarize and discuss the essentials of an Age Management BHRT program.
