April AMMG Conference in Miami

Jeff Morris

Approved for 25.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, the next live AMMG conference is the 34th Clinical Applications for Age Management Medicine Conference, taking place April 26-30 in Miami, Florida.

The extensive agenda of this in-depth, four-day conference will cover everything from the basics of Age Management Medicine to more complex subject matter and case studies.

Kicking things off on Wednesday is a non-CME event, the Practice Management Workshop, designed to equip attendees with the necessary tools to successfully transition from the well-established structure of disease-based medicine or from the traditional insurance-based reimbursement system into a system which relies to a significant degree upon direct pay. Everything is discussed, from developing a menu of services that will fit you and your practice, to the basics of diagnostic tools and procedures, through sales of ancillary products, marketing, employee management, and liability entanglements.

Thursday features four full day Pre-Conference tracks. Besides Dr. Mark Gordon’s long-running Traumatic Brain Injury Workshop and the non-CME Office-Based Aesthetics, two additional specialized focuses are featured: Hormone Modulation and Regenerative Medicine.

In the course of the Use of Hormone Modulation in Age Management Medicine workshop, attendees will learn about the importance of Estrogen, Thyroid and Cortisol, Testosterone for women and for men, and the diagnosing and treatment of Adult Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency. The afternoon will feature a series of case presentations and complex cases involving all of the these hormones.

The workshop in Regenerative Medicine for Aging will cover therapies that support the body in repairing, regenerating and restoring itself to a state of well-being. It will touch on advancements in patient care across a wide range of medical specialties to expand and maintain optimal health and quality of life. From pain management and tissue repair to sexual wellness and uses of peptides, this workshop will cover the wide range of regenerative medicine therapies that prompt the body to enact a self-healing response.

General sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday provide a wide range of innovative, practical and game-changing scientific information. Topics will include advanced cardiovascular testing, innovative cholesterol management, and Parkinson’s Disease treatments. There will be sessions on hypogonadism, methylation, environmental toxins, post-infectious syndromes, and mitochondrial function.

Also look for presentations on long COVID, HRT and COVID, autoimmunity, mycotoxins, gut issues, and inflammaging and the microbiome. Plus discussion of genomic imprinting, nutrition strategies, weight loss, traumatic brain injury, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, holistic obstetrics and gynecology, the benefits of orgasms, and GABA and allosteric modulators.

As usual, every AMMG presentation is peer-reviewed by a Planning Committee of highly respected industry clinicians, ensuring that all faculty content complies with—or exceeds—ACCME’s stringent standards. Even the quality industry exhibitors are leaders in their field.
